Margaret Landry, Executive Assistant and Event Coordinator
Margaret Landry, Event Coordinator and Executive Assistant to Mr. Carleton Varney, joined Dorothy Draper & Co, Inc. in 2006. She has contributed her expertise to numerous projects and special events, including the “In the Pink Ball” in Dallas, TX, hosted by the Women's Museum where the Dorothy Draper Retrospect was on display; the “Cherry Blossom Festival” in Macon, GA; The Carter Center's Winter Weekend in Port St. Lucie, FL; The Museum of Art in Fort Lauderdale's 50th Anniversary black tie dinner and benefit; the 2008 press events for the Architectural Digest Greenroom in Los Angeles, CA; the annual “Carleton Varney Antiques and Decorating Weekend” at the Grand Hotel in Mackinac Island, Michigan in 2007 and 2008; along with arranging and coordinating several book signings, speeches and design events. Ms Landry has also designed and coordinated several special events requested by clients, such as honorary events, dinners and birthday parties.

Prior to joining Dorothy Draper & Co, Inc., Ms. Landry worked as a freelance event coordinator for the American Cancer Society, contributing to the “Making Strides against Breast Cancer” walk in Central Park, New York City.

Ms. Landry is an honors graduate from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. She also studied International Business, Politics, and Law at the University of Insbruck in Insbruck, Austria and Spanish Language and Culture at the University of Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain.

Ms Landry has been featured in The Irish Social & Personal and The Palm Beach Daily News.
