A unique decorating school with Carleton Varney and associates offering a week, multiple day and day tuition courses in the luxurious Greenbrier setting.
The Greenbrier, the famous award winning National Historic Landmark hotel in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia has been serving distinguished guests since 1778. The Dorothy Draper tradition of vibrant colors, floral patterns, bold contrasts, large scale, and neo-baroque style is still evident and flourishing in the hotel today as the tradition continues to be carried forth with the Dorothy Draper Co. design team, with Carleton Varney as president and owner.
The Greenbrier Resort is easily accessible and located within a 5 hour travel radius of major metropolitan areas. There are direct flights from New York City, Atlanta, and Cleveland to Lewisberg/Greenbrier Valley Airport, West Virginia.

The one week decorating program is designed so that participants may....
Participants will explore the art of creating beautiful and bold interiors within 20 hours of in-class time, two hour morning and two hour afternoon sessions. The schedule will provide time to engage with fellow participants and also to enjoy relaxing activities available at the resort.
Afternoon tea and receptions will enhance the living and learning interactions of the small group, which will create an intimate, relaxed, fun learning environment.
Tours of public and private Greenbrier spaces will offer glimpses into the masterfully decorated Greenbrier interiors, and interior consultations with professional instructors will enlighten participants approach to their own personal decorating needs.

Single and weekly night packages are available at the Greenbrier Resort, which includes airport transfers from Lewisburg, breakfast and any group receptions.
Prices vary per season, for weekly package including lunch $1,847 to $2,642. Double occupancy rate available.
A deposit of $1,000 secures a position in the week course, $500 for a day or multiple day courses. The remaining balance is payable two weeks before commencement of course.
